Role Overview

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and executing business development and client acquisition strategies. The role focuses on generating high-value opportunities within the construction, engineering, design-build, and fit-out industry, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring consistent revenue growth aligned with the company’s strategic direction and Four

The Sales Manager serves as a key representative of the company, building a strong pipeline of projects, managing end-to-end sales processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams (Operations, QS, Estimating,Finance, People & Culture) to deliver winning proposals and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Strategy

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales plan to meet quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new clients, opportunities, and partnerships in private and government sectors.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and industry scanning to inform sales strategies.
  • Expand network through industry events, client meetings, and project presentations.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build long-term relationships with key accounts, developers, owners, and project management teams.
  • Maintain active communication and provide exceptional client experience consistent with the company’s standards.
  • Gather client requirements and ensure alignment with internal departments during bidding, negotiation, and project onboarding.

Proposal Development & Negotiation

  • Work closely with Estimators, QS, Engineering, and Operations to prepare competitive bids and proposals.
  • Lead contract negotiations ensuring clarity, compliance, and alignment with company goals.
  • Ensure all proposals are compliant with technical requirements, pricing strategies, and project timelines.

Sales Monitoring & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain an organized sales pipeline and forecasting dashboard.
  • Track conversion rates, client engagement, project leads, and revenue performance.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for Senior Management.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Mentor and guide junior sales or marketing associates (if applicable).
  • Collaborate with Marketing for campaigns, brand visibility, and sales collateral.
  • Coordinate with Operations for site visits, walk-throughs, and project briefings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Architecture, or any related field.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years proven experience in Sales or Business Development within the construction, engineering, real estate, design-build, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated success in closing contracts, managing client portfolios, and handling multimillion peso projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, bidding, costing, and project timelines.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and pipeline management.
  • Ability to analyze trends, forecast sales, and provide data-driven insights
