Job Summary
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing daily production operations to ensure that products are manufactured on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. This role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising production activities while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. The Production Manager also leads process improvements, manages resources efficiently, and works closely with other departments to achieve operational excellence and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Production Operations
- Plan, organize, and monitor daily production schedules to meet customer and business requirements.
- Ensure that production targets are achieved while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, quality assurance, and operational procedures.
- Monitor and control production costs, waste reduction, and resource utilization.
Process & Performance Management
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and quality teams to resolve production issues.
- Maintain accurate production reports, records, and documentation.
Team Leadership & Development
- Supervise, train, and evaluate production staff to ensure accountability and high performance.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and feedback to improve employee skills and effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production management, preferably in manufacturing or food-related industries.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in production management software and MS Office applications.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Willing to be assigned full-time in Lipa, Batangas.
