- Prior experience in roasting, food production, or a related field preferred but not required; basic knowledge of roasting processes, flavor profiles, and equipment.
- Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, physically fit, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with stamina for standing, lifting, and handling roasting equipment.
- Roast coffee beans (or other relevant ingredients) according to standard recipes and desired flavor profiles, monitor equipment, and maintain quality consistency.
- Clean, maintain, and operate roasting machines safely, report malfunctions, and ensure all tools and workstations are organized.
- Record roasting batches, monitor inventory and supplies, coordinate with kitchen or roastery teams, and support production schedules.
