Role Summary
The Program Operations Manager is a cross-functional execution role that sits between a Chief of Staff and a Project Lead or Team Admin Manager. This position is responsible for consolidating work across teams, driving execution discipline, and providing leadership with clear visibility into progress, risks, and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage integrated program and project plans across multiple departments
- Consolidate timelines, deliverables, and dependencies into a single execution view
- Track progress, milestones, KPIs, and success metrics
- Proactively identify and escalate risks, issues, and red flags
- Maintain clear project documentation, trackers, and governance cadence
- Keep teams aligned, informed, engaged, and accountable throughout execution
- Communicate completed deliverables, risks, and forward plans to senior management
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in Program Management, Project Management, PMO, or Operations roles
- Proven experience coordinating cross-functional teams and initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Hands-on experience using project/program management tools (e.g., Jira, Monday.com, Smartsheet)
- Strong reporting and tracking skills using Excel or similar tools
- Experience in BPO, shared services, or consulting environments preferred
